Curriculum

At Pratyusha, we go by the play way method of teaching through an inquiry-based approach to learning in a gadget free environment.

The curriculum is framed keeping in mind the all-round development of the child in a warm, friendly and safe environment.
We provide a curriculum which is engaging, exciting, challenging, and relevant to children.

Our activities are age appropriate created with a purpose of inculcating discipline, confidence, expression in language, good values, a fine balance in social, emotional, physical and cognitive development. All of this is done keeping the fun and play element in mind. We stress on the importance of Sensory development in a child and we have numerous activities in this area too.

Our curriculum is theme based. Every month, we have our activities as art and craft, stories, rhymes, play, learning etc around the theme.

Language Skills: The preschool education concentrates on the basics of oral communication, speaking, listening and reading, comprehending simple texts, and encouraging writing skills at a gradual pace.

Numerical Ability: Numeracy helps children develop their skills in logical operations, like counting, sorting, matching, creating patterns, problem-solving and working with shapes and measures. We help them build a strong mathematical foundation through practical tasks, stories, songs, games and imaginative plays. We also help children understand how mathematics can be applied in real life during their preschool education

Science: Children are inquisitive by birth. Every day, they are exposed to a whole range of sights and sounds, which stimulates their curiosity. We help them develop crucial knowledge, skills and understanding to make sense of the world around them.

Creative Expression: Learning the arts helps children experience a unique integration of the body and mind. We, therefore, encourage children to indulge in and appreciate different forms of creative expressions like art, music, dance, and encourage our children to take part in all activities, to speak up, to tell stories and enact short plays.

Physical Activity, Basics of gymnastics: This program is helping our children tremendously in terms of discipline, improving their strength, flexibility and their gross motor skills.

Messy Activities: They are interesting fun activities which help in Sensory development and improvement in their fine motor skills.

Resource Room: We have started this program to address any specific need which is pre-existing or which may arise in a child. We always believe in early intervention is the way to go forward.

For us as a school, our Children are of prime importance. From time to time we have introduced new programs which benefit the child multifold.
